Getting safely to the bottom is the bottom line. If you can avoid stuck pipe, you can avoid extra costs and risks. Use of the Volant CRTi® Internal Grip and CRTe® External Grip Casing Running Tool enables makeup, break out, reciprocate, rotate, fill /circulate, and cement casing and liner strings, reducing non-productive time and associated costs. It’s proven where the figures add up – in the real world of field operations.

Specifications:
Volant’s MSV adapts to the Casing Running Tool with either CRTi® internal grip or CRTe® external grip architecture. The MSVi™ is designed for internal grip and MSVe™ for external grip tools. Installed between CRT and casing seal, the MSV is designed to entirely stop fluid flow after fluid circulating or casing running operations. The valve opens with applied pressure when circulating begins and closes when it is stopped. The MSV allows backflow and will not trap pressure in the casing string.
The MSV has been designed to the same flow rate limit of each corresponding CRTi® and CRTe®.

When you’re looking for an increase in torque, short lead time, and reasonable cost, MLT Rings™ in conjunction with API connections is the solution. Whether you need to ream casing to bottom or rotate during cementing, MLT Rings™ enables success. They work in API connections ‘as-is’.

Volant’s FST is designed for casing drilling or running operations with top drive equipped rigs to supply passively damped axial travel during connection making. The FST helps to prevent damage due to jarring or sudden loading to casing or drilling equipment during day-to-day operations.
This patent-pending architecture is capable of providing full hoisting loads in combination with full torque values at all stroke positions. The FST is fully compatible with Volant’s Casing Running Tool’s, CRTi® Internal Grip and CRTe® External Grip.

Volant’s CST connects in-line with the top drive quill and allows for fluid to be pumped down a casing string through two side-entry ports. Fluid can be pumped through the tool while maintaining the ability to rotate and reciprocate the casing string, improving the integrity of the cement job. The Cement Swivel circumvents the need to pump cement through the top drive, eliminating the risk of cement setting in the top drive components when operated in-line with a Kelly Valve (or similar). This tool is compatible with and carries similarly designed ratings to Volant’s line of CRTi® Internal Grip Casing Running Tools.
